Hello! My name is Sophie. I am a junior studying Human Development & Family Studies at U of I. I’m passionate about how family & romantic relationship dynamics operate & affect the wellbeing of the individuals involved. I like to express myself creatively through clothing & art. I’m also an avid lover of music & nature, I tend to combine the two. I make it a priority to be outside & take walks around campus, regardless of the weather. I believe connecting with nature, even in humble ways, is integral to my wellbeing. Being in nature – watching the clouds, breathing the fresh air, hearing the birds chirp – helps me clear my head & become more mindful of the present moment.
