Cherish Recera is a Sophomore studying English and Community Health with a minor in Informatics. She previously interned within Promise Healthcare’s Prenatal Clinic and has been writing for Fastweb for two years. In Fall 2018, she completed her research regarding tutoring methods and perceived success in the Writers Workshop of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. When Cherish is not preoccupied with academics, she is often focused on secretarial work for the Speech & Debate Team at UIUC. Her down time is often filled with baking, exploring campus, and reading outdoors when the weather is pleasant. Cherish is excited to work with Humans in Nature since she supports the idea that environment influences health and relationships on a daily basis.
