Today’s post comes with a personal story. In celebration of Fall and all the fun activities that one can do outdoors, Sandra Y. from the University of Illinois, tells us what motivates her to stay engaged during this time of year.

“I really like fall because I feel like it’s a time where everyone comes together for different events before the hectic holiday season hits. It’s always fun to participate in pumpkin carving, apple picking, haunted houses, or just lounging on the quad in a warm sweater. It’s a super relaxed vibe where the sky shades into a nice light during the day, and by the end, it’s always a happy, warm, orangey-red. I really like to walk to my classes as much as I can before it gets freezing cold. The nice breeze makes me enjoy the walk and also not sweat like it does in the summer. The leaves changing and the wind picking up makes me take things in slowly and realize that even if it might be a crazy week, it’s always comforting outside:)” ————————————

Happy Fall! It’s an exciting time with various warm colors, warm blankets, and pumpkins galore. With changing seasons comes a possible change in your mental health.
